For over 50 years retired village residents have been able to meet weekly in Longniddry Church Hall at 2.30pm - on a Wednesday, of course!
Everyone enjoys cheery company, the opportunity for a good blether, and rounded off with a cup of tea! Entertainment ranges from Burns to Beatles’ music, (audience singalong included too ), slide presentations (from the Rockies to Ross-shire), flower arranging, the ever popular Christmas lunch, not forgetting visits from some furry friends, including, earlier this year, a handsome young Guide Dog in training and four adorable alpacas! Variety is the spice of life! No wonder folks are reluctant to leave around 4pm.
Come along for activities, varied entertainment, tea/coffee and a chance to chat.
